The Dark Knight continues his crime fighting spree in the Batman Gotham Knights Comic! Experience the drama, pressure and adrenaline as Batman leads you into the darkest corners of Gotham City – a place overrun with crime and corruption. See his adventures as he faces the menaces of The Joker, The Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze and countless of other super-evil foes. And of course, Batman can always count on little assistance from Robin, Batgirl and the other good guys. The original intent of the book was to focus on the feats of his alter-ego, Bruce Wayne and on his extended family including Alfred Pennyworth, Nightwing and Catwoman, but with time the focus moved to the villains. During its comparatively short period of publication (from 2000 to 2006), Batman Gotham Knights Comics ran a total of 74 issues as the last one appeared in April 2006. The magazine ceased publication at the conclusion of the “Infinite Crisis” storyline, as part of the following "One Year Later" event, focused around the “52” series of weekly comic books. The book also featured the popular “Batman: Black and White” back-up strip, where various artists – each one with his own style – did their take on the famous character in b&w format. These artists include Jim Lee, Dave Gibbons, Harlan Ellison and Gene Ha. Batman Gotham Knights Comic book was a monthly publication of DC Comics.
