Body of Evidence

Photographer Miru Kim's Naked City Spleen series juxtaposes the artist's own nude body amid urban ruins, revealing a haunting sense of loneliness, but also, at times, fearlessness. The ongoing series follows Kim-or her fictional main character-through abandoned subway tunnels, factories, hospitals and catacombs around the globe. Through her work, Kim presents a dichotomy between youth and beauty and history and decay.
