FHM is a men-oriented magazine focusing on lifestyle and pleasure, geared mainly towards men enjoying the high-class way of life. It was started in 1985 under the title For Him and was in distributed in outlets only until 1987 when it became a quarterly magazine under the name FHM (For Him Magazine) with local editions in 28 countries to respond to the market competition. Along with many articles of interest to male readers, the magazine offers several regular sections: "Gadgets", "Sex", "Style", "Sport", "Drink" and "Wheels". Each issue has lots of high-quality photographs, including artistic photos of famous women and also publishes the "100 Sexiest Women In The World" selected by readers. FHM has been considered one of the most authoritative lifestyle magazines. In March 2007, FHM discontinued its US edition with only the online version remaining, but still continuing its other local editions. Currently, FHM is published monthly with 150 pages and a multi-million total circulation, varying in each country.
