How Big is a Mother's Heart?

Every year, at birthday time, I tell each of our five children the story of the day he or she arrived. Our oldest daughter, Eliza, knows all about the TV repairman who showed up in the Anchorage hospital delivery room at the worst possible moment. Whatever I shouted at that poor man made enough of an impression on the arriving infant that Eliza, now 27, has never owned a TV.
