Dena Kirkpatrick, who makes her home near Post, Texas, is credited as being a champion barrel racer, professional barrel horse trainer and a world-renowned clinician. Her accomplishments are exceptional: As a racer, riding Willy Nick Bar, Kirkpatrick won all three rounds of the Barrel Futurities of America World Championship Futurity in Oklahoma City, something no other rider had done before or since.
