Power to the People

The future of computing is mobile. First came desktop PCs, then laptops, then netbooks, and now smartphones are becoming many people's primary computer. These handheld devices are improving at an amazing rate, but as they get bigger screens, faster processors and more features, their battery life is plummeting. Wouldn't it be great to have a mobile device that never needed charging? It would be so much more convenient for everyday life, but could also transform the use of these devices in remote areas and the developing world.
