American Quarter Horse Journal
American Quarter Horse Journal is the official publication of the American Quarter Horse Association. It is devoted to professionals and amateurs alike. The magazine brings its readers the latest information from the Association and much, much more. The best breeding, training and proper horse care techniques regularly find their places on the magazine's pages with separate regular departments dedicated just to them. Other sections include "Shows and Results", "Judges" and "Legendary Horses." The events bulletin provides information about upcoming shows and sales of the American horse breeds. In July of 2007, American Quarter Horse Journal received 11 American Horse Publications awards in various categories, which placed the magazine among the top US magazines dedicated to the subject. The Journal is published monthly with four special issues including Youth World Championship, Select World Show Program, World Championship American Quarter Horse Show and Annual Stallion. Its subscribers also receive access to additional information from the AQHJ website. Currently, the American Quarter Horse Association's circulation is estimated at about 67,000.
