Consumer Reports is a magazine specializing in the delivery of quality reports about various goods on the market, informing the public what is best and what should be avoided. Consumer Reports was established in 1936 and due to its objectivity and the quality of the published materials, it has become one of the most trustworthy sources of consumer information. Each issue concentrates on a specific topic, but also covers some the other seven areas of interest - appliances, auto test, baby & child, electronics, foods, health & family, and recreation & home improvement. Along with the Special Report, each issue includes "CR Home", "CR Money" and "CR Health", covering products from the respective areas, and "Viewpoint", which is the place where readers have the word on product quality. The "Recalls" section is very useful too, as it covers both automobiles and household products found defective and recalled by the manufacturers. An Index page shows what products were reviewed and in which issue throughout the year, so that you can easily find anything of interest to you. Consumer Reports has 80 pages and a circulation of 4,300,000 paid subscribers and comes out monthly, with two issues in December.
