Each issue of Vibe Vixen features behind-the-scenes interviews with female artists, music news and reviews, as well as advice on marriage, relationships and sex, on health and fitness, on fashion and style, food recipes and money management tips, beauty tips and much more. The Vibe Vixen magazine was first released in the fall of 2004 as an offset of Vibe magazine, but it quickly became so successful that it begun appearing on a quarterly basis and later with the current six issues per year.
